There are multiple threads, posts, and comments on Facebook even about what's going on. Thanks for once again chiming in on something that doesn't even pertain to you.
Since this also doesn't pertain to me, I'll chime in as well.
Don't get pissy because someone out organized you. For the last few months there have been multiple threads asking for details. Every response was basically, "we'll tell you later". If a car forum wants a lot together why not post those details on...the forum?
Someone else organized a lot after a lack of communication on multiple sides.
Again, I'm speaking out of line, and have no ambition of using a lot since I'm close enough to use my own property for WDC. But quite frankly this years organization of WDC lot has been completely absent. Multiple times people were essentially told to buzz off when asking about details.
This isn't directed at Carm, sorry if it came off that way. Dline already arranged to meet with the owner of our usual lot since he's cutting a better deal for him since they know they have us on the hook every year. Pointless for us to get a lot if half of the people end up at yours isn't it? Every year we talk about moving farther north and unfortunately I'm at the mercy of the property owners in regards to communicating with me, and let's just say they've all been less than stellar since they're trying to see who will pay the most. We have a lot EVERY SINGLE YEAR and this year would have been no different except I was trying to get us farther north because it's what YOU GUYS WANTED. Knowing location really isn't a detail on whether you're going to come out not is it? Sorry if u guys felt " out of the loop" but the parking spot really isn't a matter of location unless u want to be farther north.

You probably shouldn't piss on someone elses hard work then because you didn't communicate. I'd love for you to show me one thread that talks about details or gives any sort of direction about the WDC other than a passing by comment about 'stay tuned'. Eventually people stop saying tuned and go get it done their own way. There's nothing wrong with either of those things, but getting upset because people got sick of waiting for details for an event that is less than 2 weeks away. Whether I can go or not shouldn't matter to your ability to communicate concise, clear, details.

Two lots always seemed to work out in the past, I asked Rick on more than one occasion to get with me and get one big lot closer to 13 or 14 mile but he never seemed interested.
I'd like to formally propose for next year MM and me and Carm and Sal all get together and we get one big lot Carm and I will handle the legwork as long as I know the club is behind me that way there isn't any questions about who's doing what.

WTF is going on here? No reason for all this in fighting..
Jim, Carm and I never said it was the "official MM lot".. Long story longer, I found this lot, got together with Jim and Carm to see if they wanted to go in halfs with me and offer it to our friends/car clubs so we can enjoy the cruise together.
The price we are offering it is the price we paid for it, were not making a dime off of it... And like Carm said a few nights ago, it ends up costing us more then what we paid.
Last year we had a great set up at 14 mile were we had private bathroom, a private air conditioned banquet room with tables that Carm set up a buffet. I was promised the parking lot this year (which I would of turned it over to MM) but Art Vans wallets a little bigger then mine.
Our lot is still a great deal for 3 1/2 days for $100.. If you wanna a spot, PM us and we'll set you up..
