Woman repeatedly drives on sidewalk to avoid loading school bus, gets ticket

If I was the cop the first words out of my mouth would be "WTF are you thinking?"

If she was so determined to get around the bus why not just drive on the street? Last I checked kids don't enter/exit on the driver's side so there wouldn't be any kids out in the street.

That bus loads physically handipped kids so it takes an extra minute to load their wheelchairs on board.
So why not go down a different block in the mornings?

But still, why on the grass? The lane next to the bus is still empty. You're still illegally passing a stopped bus either way.

I was out in my shop earlier this year and something caught my eye out the window...a god damn mini-van was tearing through the neighbor's lawn. Across our street there is a handicap stop, takes forever. Old couple in the van decided that instead of waiting(or turning around, it wouldn't have been hard or taken much longer), they'd go up the neighbors drive and cut through their lawn to our back alley. What goes through your head to try that move?
