With the Draglites....

Picked up some rear draglites from Krazybones last year. When I got them they were painted black, but with alot of aircraft remover, various grits of sandpaper, a few hours of elbow grease and Mothers polish they turned out pretty good. Got the tires mounted up and put on. Still need to mount the fronts up with tires that I also picked up from Krazybones(Thanks!). Will get a pic up of those as well.

Looks good. The black looked good too, I just don't think it would have looked right on your color combo. Now all you need is a GT spoiler and it will look really good! :)

x2 black wouldn't look right on his car, how about no spoiler!!

haha, I cant rock the no spoiler unless it was a notch. I like the saleen wing personally. Ive rocked the stock wing for about 5 years and just got sick of looking at it. Im sure I will get sick of the saleen wing eventually and change it back

That's alot of work man... I know polishing them sucks enough.

oh yeah, this was in the winter time with no garage in an apartment and spraying the wheels with aircraft remove in my bathroom witht the exhaust fan turned on  Couldnt beat the price on the wheels so I figured if they woulda turned out like crap I could just repaint them. They actually did it right and scuffed the wheels, primed, then painted. So once I removed the layers I had some nice scratches to get out, good ole 800 to 1000 to 1500 to 2000 grit sandpaper did the trick

did you use a compound clay bar 2 step, its what you can use to polish it up if you were to sand it down and with the grades you used it should come out sweet. i been polishing handgun slides for about 3months they all come pretty much like chrome did about 20 so far. but the wheels look good:thumbsup:

Nope just used the sandpaper (wet) then Mothers Aluminum Polish. Where can you get that claybar 2 step at?
