If I'm correct the 5/8's studs would eliminte the long shank on the current set of lug nuts and you would switch to a flat nut. If you measure the opening on the weld it should be a hair larger than 5/8".

For your truck and the weight....1/2 is fine, but just an FYI.

they are jegs wheels , not weld wheel's .....
with he jegs wheel the lug goes in the wheel....
with weld's the lug is exposed
