One question, why didn't you go with 5/8 studs instead of 1/2?

becouse of the wheels that are on the truck , the lugs go all the way in the wheel and if i went bigger a socket wouldnt fit.

If I'm correct the 5/8's studs would eliminte the long shank on the current set of lug nuts and you would switch to a flat nut. If you measure the opening on the weld it should be a hair larger than 5/8".

For your truck and the weight....1/2 is fine, but just an FYI.
