Wings get Bertuzzi......

If he gets healthy its a great deal. Out of the big power forwards available, he is the most skilled. This move really makes the top two lines that much more dangerous.:peelout:

Good shit! I know he's got a bad rep for that incident a couple years ago, but he is exactly what this team needs. A big, physical player who's also very skilled. I like this move.

I think its a great move.

The prospect Florida got, Shawn Matthias is more of a role player than a scorer. And 2 conditional draft picks depending on how many games he plays, how he performs and if he re-signs with the wings next season.

It also shows how much Atlanta overpaid for Keith Tkachuk.

Great move if he's anywhere near the player he was before he was hurt. I never liked him, I always thought he was dirty(which he proved) but if he's on our team I can overlook it.

IF he can get healthy and stay healthy he'll be fun to watch. It's a low risk move with the possibility for great rewards.

People didn't like the chris chelios move years ago but they go over it as long as he produces people will accept him.

I look at it this way I would rather have him then play him in a seven games series. Pushin his big ass around gets tiring. I agree with every one that i am glad to have him. I really dont think he has been the old Bertuzzi since the Moore incident.

Even when he was healthy he was a total waste of ice time in Vancouver.

He is a goon forward that has no business still in the "New NHL"

Also sad to see Jason Williams go too, only guy that remotely puts the puck in on shootouts hehe

His last season with Vancouver he had 25 and 46. I'll take that from a "goon" any day. The "New NHL" doesn't exist in the playoffs, it's only for the regular season. :D

A change of scenery can sometimes work wonders. If he produces the fans will love him even if he almost killed someone and ruined their hockey career. :dontknow:

Ill take the "goon" to if he gets you 25-30 goals a full season. Plus he adds the size that the team has been missing the last few years in the playoffs.

I'll reserve judgement on Bertuzzi. He has a tendency to lose his cool and
take bad penalties. He has skills and toughness though. Kyle Calder can be
a 20 plus goal guy here. He had 36 for Chicago last year I think.
Change of scenery will probably be good for Jason Williams. With some good ice time, he might turn into a 20-30 goal guy. I see him as Chicago's 2nd
line center.
