Windshield Replacement?

Hey guys, who does a good & reasonable ($$$) windshield replacement on the west side?

My mother needs a windshield replaced in her 2011 Kia Soul.

Thank you!

My son hit a deer and the car was unsafe to drive. Windshield was caved way in on the driver side and you could not see. Also glass shards everywhere. We would have had to tow it. We had safetylite (sp?) come to the house and I think it was $240.

That was another one I too had thought of.
I need to call them, was hoping it might be under
$200 - perhaps not.

Depending where she is located, Milford Glass in Milford is putting one in my sons Ranger for $175

I'll double check the price. It may have been $140. I just thought it was the way to go either way for us when you figure the towing expense.

I went to Ann Arbor Auto Glass once. They were OK (not real clean, they stood on the sills instead of a step stool, plenty of polyurethane shards left on dash) but cheap.

I have had good luck with Safelite Auto Glass. They will beat any competitors prices thats for sure. They will come to you and install the windshield or you can always bring it to them i guess.

Really? Clarkston glass did my silverado windshield for like $115 and it turned out great. I think AAA glass said $110 but I didn't want to drive that far. When I called Safelite they were like $250, but I guess i didn't ask them to price match.

Bump.

Got a crack in my windshield and it's a lease. Best to go through my insurance or just pay out of pocket to one of the above places?
