I want to tint my windows, which store do you guy recommend, and how much it will be?
and how much % should I get that won't be pulled.?

sun shade window tinting on 15 mile in troy they have done all of my cars for me they do a great job i think they charge around $40.00 per window
they are in the same building as macco of troy

Back window you can go with any tint. 1/4 glass any tint. They can pull you over for ANYTHING on the side windows.

I would go 5% on back and 1/4, 35% on sides.

so how much % on side windows is legal?
and slickstang,where is the store?and the name vbmenu_register("postmenu_824784", true);

they only allow a 4" on the top of the side windows and no more than a 6" on the windshield at any % you want

mine is 5% on the back 3 and 35% on the sides

that's my daily driver..so I wanna make sure which one will be the bsdt..is 5% on tha ck and 35% on the side ok?or 40+on the side is better?

the next lighest is 50% and you cant really tell its tinted. once you get used to it its fine. Accually my DD is tinted darker with 20% all the way around

My last 2 vehicles have been tinted 20% all the way around except for the windshield.....I don't know about you, but I think having all the windows the same shade looks better, I don't like having contrast on my windows......But to each his own.....

Coming from a "law enforcement" perspective, I only pull cars over for tint when I want a quick and easy way to get into the car....meaning the driver looks like a piece of shit and has something to hide..........most of the time, I only do it when it's slow and I'm bored.....I have never written a ticket for it though.....

:rockwoot: That's cool. I know a lot of people that had to take the tint off the sides.

I went with 35% on the sides, 20% on the back window and 50% on the windshield. Ive only been harassed once, but they didnt do anything about it

the law is actually any windows adjacent to the driver can AT MOST have a 4" strip of tint that can be no darker then 35%.

This is the age old "i want my car tinted but i don't want to get pulled over so i will do it light, but i want it dark so it looks good" question...

i get this just about everyday at work. if you're worried about getting rolled, just go with the 35% on your driver and passanger. me personally, i like to do the same shade on the entire side of a car. so i'de suggest 35% on the 1/4 glass as well, then go with something darker on the back window.

i personally think it looks tacky on say a 4 door car when the back is all limo'd out and the front 2 are in 35% so it's a noticabley different in shade. that's why i like to keep the everything on the side the same shade, it's "cleaner" looking to me.

on my step-dad's Lincoln LS i did 15% on the back window and 35% up the sides and it looks really nice. but on my ram i did 15% all around with 35% platinum (silver/mirror looking tin) on the windshield

for a 2 door car like yours, you could expect to pay anywhere from $150-$250 depending on the place.
