Will my block be ok with one of these stroker kits??

A stock block with stock ho internals is just as strong as a scat eagle or whatever rotating assembly u have in a stock block. The block is the weak point so its a waste of time and money to build a stock block shortblock. What kinda block is ur 331
 
Its just a stock block with a Eagle 331 stroker kit..I might just leave it the way she is and put a bottle on it..Then let Pete setup jets...

After seeing that, yeah I dont see why you would want to go from 331 to 347. You wouldn't gain enough to be beneficial. Oh and I wasn't trying to be an ass, Thanks for using swear words. I am offended now. Thanks. :cry:
 
I would put a on3 kit on it and just run like 6to8lbs I had nos and got sick of filling bottles now I have on3 kit and my car runs real good without worry about filling bottle the power is always there

he is carbed though man. the cost and knowledge of keeping it running would be more then he wants or needs. thats why nitrous is his best option in this case.
 
to have the on 3 kit and everything to run it cost wise on a carbed app i bet it would be roughly 2500-3500$ depending on what he could find for parts. and this would be just the cost of parts. the tuning for it would be atleast 1000$ i bet if he took it somewhere.
 
on 3 kit used-1000$
blow through carb used-600$
fuel pump new-160$
FPR that references boost-$100
carb bonnet new-150$
plugs-20$

misc other clamps, lines, upgrades, gaskets- $200


id say im close.
 
I'd say those prices are on the high end. Ive seen hotsides go for $250-300, used turbos go for $200. Running low boost he could go non intercooled, or even with an e85 carb you wouldnt need an intercooler.
