That's a portable one... It shreds the car so when they take it back to the yard they can sort through it by magnets...


My cousin runs a bigger one then that... It shreds a whole car in about 30 seconds... He has pictures of when he shredded prototype cars and a few vipers... Pretty sick machine...
 
Holy shit, that's a killer machine!!! I seen a smaller one of those on TV but they were just chewing up furniture and stuff. Shredding cars is impressive for sure!!

But to be honest, if a yard is using that that as their portable shredder when they actually have a full size shredder, it's a huge waste. You'd spend a lot less towing those cars to the yard and shredding them there than you would buying this portable shredder.

Nice! We use one of those at work to shread old plastic pallets and dunnage. I wondered what would happen to a car in one of those.
