Why rednecks vote Republican

Funny video. Of course you can do the same thing to people on both sides. Blind support for Republicans and blind support for Democrats. Pick your poison.

I suppose the "blind" Republicans here can at least use the "the Republican party started in Michigan" as an excuse. I'll never forget going to the Joe to see Senator Obama speak. Governor Granholm introduced him but before she did, made sure to remind people that our state was the worst in unemployment in the nation (at the time) under a Republican President. While many people cheered and went wild, I was a little shocked, as she was in charge. How does our state's Governor talk about how bad our state is doing and strictly blaming the federal government while overlooking everything else?

I don't know if I'll ever vote for one of the two major parties ever again; especially after things like the Nation Defense Authorization Act of 2012.

Democrat vs. republican is a distraction. it doesent really matter who is in office. if you think ANY of these clowns have your best interest in mind, your sadly mistaken. the last republican spent money like a drunken democrat and this clown in office had been spending money like a democrat on speed.

I am with you. The only guys I feel is decent this year is Ron Paul. He doesn't have a shot in hell of winning. So I guess I will be writing myself in again like 2008. The quality of the candidates to me is sad.

Perfect rebuttal.. idiocy (idiocrity??) does not migrate to 1 party..

It's sad when the news agencies poll people, and they say they aren't even bothering to vote. Their reasoning is if they don't vote, nobody can blame them for what those in office have screwed up. I heard this during the MI primaries.

I'm not sure if this menatility reflects people who've forgotten what democracy is all about, and taken it for granted, or just that people have given up.

The funny thing is, the most pragmatic response to the Obamacare question was dead nuts perfect. Doesn't care about health care. He never had health care before, and neither his daddy or granddaddy had it.. somehow he's still living and breathing...

 Really?

So your "dead nuts perfect" response to health care is people shouldn't care about health care because people in the past didn't have it?

Very interesting...

He doesn't care about health care. With somebody like that, you can't argue it's benefits, weaknesses or how good/bad the champion of socialized health care is. You have nowhere to go with that guy to change his logic.. in debate terms... perfect response. All you can do is ask a similar question, which will get you the same response. It's no longer a debate with him.. perfect response.

Don't get the actual issue involved here. I'm not commenting or editorializing about Obamacare. I'm talking about the guys position on the topic, that's all.

It would be like trying to get an opinion about a paint color.. if the guy you are asking is blind, he couldn't care less what color something is.

Ok...if he said he didn't care about education, should we as a nation not care about that either? It's about as equally as ridiculous. He can still put words together in a sentence. So education in this country must be fine according to that logic.

As soon as the Federal government quits messing around with issues that need to be addressed at the state or local level is when this country will start to turn around for the better of all.

But what will we do without the fed's giving banks all our money, telling us who we can marry, and deciding everything else for us? :D

You're still missing my point.

It's not what the question was.
It's not what the answer was.
It's how he answered the question that was perfect.

If you answer a question that opens the door to another question, the debate continues. If you answer a question so that there are no valid followup questions, the debate ends. Perfect response.. he did it in 2 rounds. That's all I was commenting on.

In fact, he did it better than me, it's taken 3 rounds in our "debate", but I'm done now.. :D.

The guy standing in his crap strewn house with 3 teeth, he had to keep answering questions because he was leaving the door open for more questions.

I don't agree with any of the candidates. Just because I think we have shit people placed before us, doesn't mean I have to vote for them. I don't agree with any of them. I hate the left as much as the right. I hate the welfare rats that want free handouts as much as the people that hide in the bushes saying the government is going to take all of our freedoms away. Those are the true morons of our society and why this country is so fucked up.

I don't care which party you belong too, the Republican and Democrats are virtually the same. I vote for some one for what their values are and their plans are if I feel they are what this country needs I get in line with and vote for them.

Now That being said its hard to believe some one any more, most of these candidates that have been voted in in the past 15 years have promised to do one thing when they are running and then do the exact opposite. However it does seem that both parties support big Federal Government and Corporations. Our country is spending way more than we can afford to spend, the only reason why our Economy has not collapsed yet is because the U.S. dollar is the world reserve currency right now, if it losses that title you will see the economy collapse in a hart beat.

Basically look at the candidates and the ones that have a real plan to stop spending all this money are the ones that I will look at, Remember our country had a credit down grade last August, yet we keep spending more, Lets see what happens this August.

I can say I like Ron Pauls view on foreign spending and the Federal Reserve, But if his plans and ideas were to be put through, the corporations that own our government would loose their power and I doubt they will give that up without a fight.
