You just test it with a hydrometer to see if it took in any water, it's only $2/gal if it is bad so no real loss.

I've never heard of promag with 500 hp either.

I would be scared trying to run even e85 in my car with 90# injectors at 600-700whp.... I dont see how methanol will make things any easier unless you were staying N/A.
