Who wants to do a drivetrain swap for me.....

AJE k member, Kooks headers, 6 speed, stock efi

EFI is gonna make it a little harder. I think painless sells a pre made harness thats plug n play but its not cheap. I probably couldn't do it myself but if you decide to do it your self I wouldn't mind giving a hand. Into a foxbody its stupid easy with carb or EFI as long as you get the painless harness.

If there is anything you want to look at as far as the harness goes or what ever let me know not a lot of wires to hook up really from the looks of my harness

Gettin a Hydraulic clutch setup to work in an original mechanical clutch car is not going to be fun. I looked into it before. Huge pain in the ass just begins to describe it.

Forget the Painless setup. You can use a 99+ F-body engine harness and just remove the extra wires. The Painless setup is $$ and last I knew it only worked with the (crappy) 1998 PCM. It's only slightly less stupid-easy to use original GM parts.

Been there... Done that... Used to be the moderator.

from the info I have seen the pedals are not an issue.
some people are also using thunderbird turbo coupe pedals(in fox's though)

An A4 swap wouldn't hurt my feelings, I just thought I could use my current t56

What is the T56 from? LT1 and LS1 T56s are different. I'm not sure how different the Ford or Viper T56s are either. You're probably best off getting the LSx T56 just so you don't have to mess with different input shaft lengths/diameters/pilot bushing issues.

It's a Viper spec t56 for a Ford modular car

i would call quicktime and see it they have a bell that has the correct dimensions but uses the pull cable system

that would make things simple. except making the guages work

Oil Pressure: Put an OE Ford sender in the port above the oil filter
Coolant temp: Put an OE Ford sender in the passenger side head
Speedo: Does the Ford T56 have a spot on the tailshaft for the speedo cable? (Is the SN95 speedo cable driven like the Foxes?
Tach: I dunno. Is the original tach electronic? If so you should be able to find a converter to convert the LSx pulses to whatever the Ford tach needs.

yeah, it shouldn't be a hard swap.
if there is a bell that will work with the cable clutch and ls1 then it would be pretty much bolt in

the car already has a t56 in it

I understand that, but a completely different t56 setup. The swap to an LS1 t56 hydraulic setup will be anything but a cake walk. There are no conversion bells or anything etc. You will need n ls1 t56 and will have to do a lot of fabrication to get everything trans related to work properly, especially with the hydraulics. There's a reason why there are only a few of these conversions out there, too much of a pain in the ass.
