i want to hit the waves in the double backflip video. that is some serious. SERIOUS air. you wont be getting that on a couch unless you hit some freighter rollers under the blue water bridge at about 90. some of those rollers get about 10-13 feet.....i know because i have swam in them and its nuts. but fun.

I usually just go out in lake michigan during small craft advisories or get behind yachts. The owner/developer of Bay Harbor does a very nice job on giving us HUGE wakes. :D

I ride a Ultra 150.

I didnt say I could do flips, just said I could get just as much air

Your argument is flawed, you need some serious wake to get a couch out of the water anywhere near what a ski can do on flat or little wake.

Granted these are well modded freestyle boats, but even a stock stand up can get in the air on flat water just by bouncing your legs. Do that with a sit down.

You can pump a sit down just as much as a stand up with little or no wake...do it all the time it just looks different cause you can throw your weight around more on a stand up

That thing looks pretty sweet.... But damn, I gotta ask... Who painted that? lol they were definitly generous with the clear! :scared:
My brother and I bought the clear a few years ago $300 for it so we used it. My buddy painted the skis for $400/each. :1syellow1

You can do a flat water barrel roll on a stock stand up if you're good. You can't do that on a sit down.

I used to ride an XP too Kovac...although mine was a tad newer. It was fun for a sit down (although i've never ridden a stand up). I rode Lake St. Clair right by Belle Mare harbor (next to SANGB) where we kept it. Some of those yahcts gave off a real nice wake....

Anywho, this is a cool thread...im digg'n the stand ups!
