Who is up for Lapeer?

Gonna head out to Lapeer for opening day....anyone else interested? Its this Saturday...if weather is good.
 
I was thinking about it, I've gone a bunch of times on opening day to the dirtway. If I go it'll just be to get out, since you'll be dealing with mud, a shitty track and lack of prep. on the track. The more I think about it the more I realize I'll just leave pissed off by the end of the day. :lol:

Yeah last time I was there on opening day the top notch track workers over filled the water box to the point that the starting line was flooded. They made no attempt to dry it either.

I hooked much better on the street.
 
last years opening day was a complete oke, i couldnt get traction until third all day, then on my way out, hooked in every gear on the road leaving...never again
 
I would rather shot myself in the face than to give those cock sucking hillbilly inbred fucks a dime of my money to race on that wavy ass strip, mud pit, hotdog vending timeslip booth ass place.

Where is the next closest place to port huron? I have to work Sat at 5pm so I was just trying to get a few passes in.

From I-75: Take Exit 81 (Palace of Auburn Hills). Go North on M-24 to Lapeer. Go Approx. 3 miles north of Lapeer to Daley Road and turn right. Go 2 miles to Roods Lake Road and turn left. Go 1.5 miles on Roods Lake Road and Lapeer International Dragway is on the left.

From I-69: Take exit 155 and go north on M-24 to Lapeer. Go Approx. 3 miles north of Lapeer to Daley Road and turn right. Go 2 miles to Roods Lake Road and turn left. Go 1.5 miles on Roods Lake Road and Lapeer International Dragway is on the left.
