I'll believe it when I see it. The key to Granholm getting booted is all these people saying what a shitbag she is actually getting in their car, driving to their polling place, and voting. If they all did, it'd be over. I don't think that will be the case though...

Humorous, but very true. By voting for a third party, you may end up with the person you dislike the most getting elected. With that, I'm voting for the better one of the 2 (most likely to get elected) candidates.:wink:

Isn't that how we got stuck with Bush in the first place? That asshole Nader sucked enough votes to tip Florida. If you don't like either one, at least vote for the one you dislike the least.

Polls have proven time and time again to be worthless. It looked like the 04' Presidential was over before it started on election day, turned out to be wildly incorrect. At this point they only serve to tell people to stay at home because they think their candidate can't win. Only one way to find out the truth...

Or when H. Ross took some Republican votes from George Sr and Clinton got elected the first time. All 3rd party candidates do is screw it up for whichever side (left/right) they are closer. Several elections would have been different if there weren't a third contender.

I agree. Just look at the previous election results on that same link - they also predicted both Gore and Kerry would beat out Bush for president. I hope MM's pole here is more representative to the actual outcome.

Yea, but that never happens. Every election cycle the pundits say we'll have record turn out and every election cycle they are wrong.

The people who have a stake usually vote, the half wits who like to play Monday morning quarterback usually stay home.
