Who installs remote starts?

I'm trying to get a remote start put on my car, after talking to about 309 different places I finally took it to Ziebart this morning. Well 5 hours after they had it they call me back and say they can't do it, because after they put it in the check engine light comes on, and they took it off. Sooo where can I go that will actually be able to install it?

A good friend of mine had a stereo shop and closed it, now he's working out of another guy's shop. I'm sure they can do it, but they're west side (Pontiac Trail and M-5).

If you need it done and can't find anyone out your way I'll find the number.

is it a manual car? if it isn't, Car Tunes would do it more than likely.

Eh no its an automatic.. but its a CTS which I guess is why its sucha problem? I might actually end up going there, except they were pretty expensive. When I was there talking to the guy he said they did one before and it "took his best mechanic of 20 years 6 hours to do it" so I don't know, we'll see.

take one of those sweet bulldog ones on the rack by the cash register and put it on yourself. :D

But seriously, I vote for autoway.

Autoway hands down.

Stay away from the hacks at Mickey Shore. They like to hook up the tach/trigger onto injectors . Then you'll be wondering why your car is miss fireing all the time until the injector dies. Happened to a buddy of mine, he took it to the dealer and the first thing out of the service writers mouth was, oh so Mickey Shore installed a remote start we know what the problem is.

Chris at my work in Flint does them. Probably done 2,000 of them over the last 5 years. He said their has only been 3 cars that he's turned down/had problems with. He did my car is less then 45minutes. Flint is a huge drive though for you.
