im going to look at mine tonight, i started collecting 1990. anyone gone through theres and see what there worth?:dontknow: :bored:

Yea I used to collect. I just pulled mine out today and was wondering what they were worth. I also used to collect comic cards as well.

Started in 1988. Still have closets full.
Have some sets from 1986 & 1987 before they turned the printing presses on 24/7.

good luck, i sold a few of my old hockey cards and a few old old tiger's baseball cards i had a month or so ago, card market sucks, no one really collects them anymore and from what i gathered going to about 5 different card shops, nothing is worth anything anymore. kids found this wonderful thing called video games and stopped caring about cards, other then pokeymon and magic..... :(

I hate to admit it but use to be into playing Magic. Those old cards are worth a fortune.

yea i read something like that, but its still cool to look at what sports used to be, especially basketball, the shorts kill me!!!

Started collecting in 1977. I have complete sets from 1977-2006 all in mint condition. I used to be really involved with trading shows etc, but kinds lost interest.

i've found that the best cards to have are 1950's and 60's baseball cards. i sold ONE no name player from NY for 45 bucks. ( i even looked him up in beckett and he was listed as like 20 bucks or something) card dealers really like those cards for some reason....

Wow, I was just wondering about mine after this weekend. I will see if I can look them up. Hopefully they are worth something......

let me know if you find a good pricing website

i just stopped like last year, it got too expensive for me. im more into football cards though. i bought a few packs at meijers last week just for kicks and got a few decent rookies. i dont have a new beckett, but if anybody comes across anything i can tell you a general figure of whats its worth. no hockey though, hockey card market is horrible.

new cards have no value cause everyone kept them

quite the contrary, in 2002 i pulled a david carr card worth 450 bucks i paid my rent with that card after it went up to 550. cards these days are actually worth more. cards from 70's and down only interest old folks. now a days its all about autographs, game used cards, and rare rookies, and serial numbered rookies/auto's/game used.

Oddly enough I was at my folks and going through my cars.

Some interesting cards I found, 1970 Joe Namath, Nikolas Lidtrom Rookie card thats an error (his name is spelt nickolas and nikolas on the card), a bunch of griffey rookie cards, etc.

I did hockey, baseball, and basketball a bit (mostly pistons).

depends on what you have i have quite a few certified autographs and game worn jersey cards that are worth alot. low print cards
