This winter with all the freezing/thawing/rain... I'm keepeing my ass on the shore.
 
Ice anglers - (DRIVERS) are reminded to use caution as it will take a few days for the cold spell to tighten the ice back up. Heavy snow will insulate the ice and prevent the freezing process, so be careful especially in the areas with heavy snowfall. :roll:

we do it all the time on Anchor Bay with the Drag Sled/1ton/4 place.

Here's a couple more shots from yesterday....
It kept breaking through the ice as they tried to pull it from shore. In the 4th pic you kind of get an idea of how far away they are from shore. There is a tow truck up there pulling on it and someone said there is 500 YARDS of cable!! Late yesterday they brought out a diver and they were stuffing giant airbags underneath the front to try to help get it up on the ice.
The 5th pic is from today, about 20 minutes ago. It's not looking good for them, especially since tomorrow it's gonna be 50 degrees!!

Holy shit!!!!! It's pretty funny since no one was hurt, but that's gonna leave a bunch of oil/gas and other shit in the lake.

WOW, thats sucks! But some people just dont know their shit...
I would be one of those people! :lol: My neighbor takes his Ram and trailor with 2 drag bikes out on anchor bay all the time....
I think i have a few pics of his 500+cc nitrous fed kawi powered suzuki 250..:lol: some of you sled/banshee guys might know him... and may have even lost to him before :D

It was great entertainment for the day yesterday!!:lol:
I loaded up the family and we went and hung out for about three hours. There was probably 100 people out there watching. The DNR and OC Sheriff guys were posing in front of it taking pictures of each other.:lol:
