while GM trucks sit in muddy lots new RAMS are sold and built daily

oh thanks such a kind gentleman...I guess the first time you said wasn't enough, you had to repeat it. Thanks for the welcome response

wow Challenger is much better looking car than a camaro....

Seriously, not ripping on you. It looks like a cool job to me. Just reposting since I am not sure if anyone got the reference.

GM should have stuck to 5th Gen longer.

The 6th is a way faster car but its a tight fit for larger guys like me 6'2" 260lbs.

The Challenger has been around since 2006 and still sells well.

I would love that job as Doughnut King ;)

I would drive around the US and Canada hitting every dragstrip in my Hell Kitty :)

BTW I have heard of manufacturers sending cars and trucks to dealer lots that need chips or modules which are an easy fix just to store them and make the lot look full.

I believe the chips are VIN specific too.... imagine getting some needed chips and telling a group of workers, go find these trucks, in that huge fucking lot filled with vehicles, and install the chips correctly and in the correct truck.

Def - sounds like a great gig!

No kidding! It's pretty sad for GM, and I say that as a huge GM performance fan. Everybody is speculating on when the Camaro will end production, and Dodge is hiring ambassadors and expanding their product line!

Ouch! So if you are buying a Chevy in the near future, better get it now because heated seats and steering wheels are being restricted to high end vehicles. I can't imagine having a vehicle without a heated steering wheel anymore - I am pretty much ruined on that for winter driving.

Been there, done that, ( years ago) running around flint assembly with no jacket in a snow storm, plus side they gave me a fully loaded dually to jump in and out of.

Yup, my dad has done that at Dearborn and at Flat Rock. They just blindly send you to find vehicles with zero organization in the lot. You just drive around until you find it.

i did it my second night at JNAP years ago too....trying to find loose lower control bolts i didnt tighten, me and 3 other young guys. Taking breaks in Jeeps all night.

I drove by the GM truck lot next to I-75 (at Mt Morris Road) on Saturday, there were only two trucks left waiting for chips. A lot next to I-69 (Morrish Road) is also empty of trucks.
