Possibly crankshaft craftsmen in detroit 313-366-0140 . I just had them repair a crank for me they were fast and reasonable.

i do thank you for the reply though supernotch. i will use them if i dont find anyone else. what they charge you to balance?

ive decided to put this engine project on hold for the winter time. picked up a stock engine over the weekend :)

$260 to balance a rotating assembly is in the ballpark.
Crankshaft Craftsmen quoted me $90 to just do a 10/10 grind on my ls1 crank, 2 day turn around.

I have a fresh 302 crank from a 78 302 truck. All cut and ready to go with bearings. IIRC, those years are 28oz. I'd sell it cheap with bearings.
