I've got a bike that I'm working on to make a "naked/streetfighter" bike. The previous owner cut the mufflers, removed some baffling, blah blah blah. I've never seen a weld done worse though. And they sound terrible. So, I'm looking at changing to something different. The problem is, there isn't much after market for these bikes. It's a 94 Yamaha XJ600 Seca II. The following is what I want to do with the exhaust. In order to do this, I need to cut the headers and move the collectors forward a few inches. I took the bike to the local Muffler Man, and he said the pipes are way to small to work on... So, does anyone know where I can get the collectors moved? Or does anyone have some welding skills and looking to make a few bucks? I'm up near Flint, in Grand Blanc, but I'll travel to the north side or wherever. Closer is better though.
