Had you asked me that as I was walking out on my final day I would have said I forgot.
Seriously, I couldn't forget that place or that period of time in my life quickly enough.
I know some people have fond memories of school and have maintained relationships for decades, that just wasn't my experience.
I moved as soon as I was out of school, changed my phone number, and haven't had contact with a single person I went to school with. It's been wonderful.

i honestly don't really blame you. despite going to 3 different high schools, there is 1 person i see and talk to regularly. one person i am FB friends with that i was really good friends with in middle school. aside from that, i don't feel bad about not seeing/talking to most of them. i am quite happy about moving right after graduating. i don't even have to worry about running into anyone from HS. it kills me, the people that still live where they went to school. and everyone they went to school with still live there also. fuck that.
Indeed. For shits and grins I looked up a few people I knew from high school on Facebook, mainly to see who I've outlived, how fat the girls had become, and how bald the guys were. This is really the essence of a reunion. I noticed many of the drug users either did stints in prison or joined the military.it kills me, the people that still live where they went to school. and everyone they went to school with still live there also. fuck that.
