What's Trenton like?

Romulus isn't that bad unless you're racist. 60/40 white/black.

Take it for what it's worth - I like to keep my stuff - Drive down Eureka from Inkster past the airport and you'll know what I mean , feels like Detroit.

I will agree with you that the Meadow's and Oakbrook subdivisions aren't exactly high quality. But a city of 26,000 and the largest city landwise outside of Detroit itself in Wayne County can't be judged by the worst places when it's an area of less than 1 square mile out of 36 square miles. To be honest, Idk, think what you want. I've lived here for 25 years and never had one thing stolen from me. Course I don't live over there, I on the west side.

Talor Tuckey as it's been known for years isn't exactly that anymore either. Since I've been in the area it has definately matured. It really isn't the same place it was twenty years ago. The schools still aren't tops but as far as social services and other things go they are doing alright. P;us they have the most police in Wayne County outside of Detroit and a Michigan State Police Post right in the middle of Taylor on Telegraph.

I guess everywhere has it's good and bad points . I don't live there so you know more but I know I like the areas south of there better that's all .

Brownstown is nice (southend), Wyandotte, Southgate, Allen Park, and Trenton are all nice area to live. I grew up in Wyandotte and work in Allen Park, both very nice communities. I have also heard about this wife swapping stuff in Trenton, just thought it was a rumor...:dontknow:

I agree that the area's south of Romulus are nicer. I just like it because of the rural feel and the convenience of city. Only a few miles in any direction to the major chain stores (except south) and I live in a neighborhood, not a subdivision with cookie cutter houses.

I like trenton. Our shop is in Trenton/Woodhaven. I wouldn't mind grabbing a small house along West rd. somewhere. Whether it be closer to woodhaven or furthur eat right on thw water. Lots of options..

I live in New Boston, not far from Trenton. Trenton isn't bad really, there's some nice places around. I don't think anything is too expensive there either.
