whats the easiest way?

to install an engine and transmission in a foxbody mustang? together or seperated? im trying to figure out how i should drop it in with the trans already attatched or seperate, and just install the trans from underneath the car
 
thank you. what are those things called that help change the angle of the engine on the cherry picker? i think ill need to pick one of those up

its possible without one, but they do help

jack the back of the car up as high as you can, it will help a lot
 
I prefer doing it separate because they are easier to handle/line up separately but that's probably because of spending over thirty years under a car removing & reinstalling transmissions and have all the right/best tools available to do it.
 
2geather i take em out togeather and put em in the same load leveler's do help but i muscle it in a little just watch your core support
