I am building a 351W and am stroking it to a 418. My Capri currently has the T-5 tranny and Ihave a chance at a Tre-mec. which tranny would be better for my application.

yeah or call liberty and ask what they recommend. i know of a few guys who ran 9s using a tremec tko that liberty built. its expensive though to make a trans live. why not put a c4 in it? it will go faster and you can spray it too.So it would be in my best interest to go ahead and sell my T-5 and get the Tremec for what I am going to be pushing through it?

I was thinking maybe a manual valve bodied trans braked C-4 or C-6 but that takes the 5 speed fun factor out. LOL But the way its looking once I get the thing out it will be hunted down, so I might as build it to get the most out of my money. I hate these kinds of decisions.
the performance auto super comp c4. lifetime warranty, you can beat the dog shit out of it and if it breaks they fix it for free, jsut have to ship it to them. i have had one for 6 years years. its awesome, i dont change the fluid nothing run it into the ground and it just takes it. if your doing a big inch windsor it will be fun if not put nitrous on it and that will make it more fun. sticks are cool but it comes to a time when they stop being fun. no more worrying about missing a shift, alot harder to get off the line, clutches burning up, when you pro shift them it takes away from the street manners and its harder to drive on the street.
Really? :headscrat
I've been wondering how long I have before I need to change the fluid in mine. I thought 1 season is the norm as long as you don't overheat it?
yeah proabably a good idea but i dont change mine.
Thats probably why your shit runs so good LOL! The fluid is all broken down and thin.
now if i can only get a motor with a warranty
