There is some crazy guy that has threatened you & your families (wife, kids, parents) life and livelihood. This person has a history of not listening to authority and has been in trouble many, many times each time walking away with a slap on the hand and nothing else. He has publicly announced his intentions to wipe out you existence and nobody will or has done anything to stop it.

What would you do?

No matter what you do you will likely not go to jail, you may lose your job, have people send you nasty letters, lose some friends that didn't agree, get put on double secret probation, although you could be killed in the confrontation with him or his friends may join in against you but you have friends also that are crazier then his.

Register a complaint with the police to have something on file. Then, press harrasment charges if he comes close to anyone you know. The system may suck, but you can get it to work for you.
 
The republican in me would attack fast and hard eliminating his friends leaving him defensless and let him stew in his pot of worry and misery before going for the primary objective.

The democrat in me (very very very small portion of me) would sit back, send mulitple letters requesting that he no longer be aggressive. With each additional attack/threat, I would send a stronger message by doing actions to effect him. Like not shopping at any business associated with him and telling others to do the same. The economic and cultural pressure would cause him to come to me begging for forgiveness.


I bet the Democratic side of me would win cause everyone knows that no one understands the language of force, only the language of compassion and forgiveness. He will respect that and me at the same time, and soon we would be best buds playing golf on a Saturday afternoon.
 
I really don't want a written paper trail of what I would really do, but lets just say I have a friend that knows a guy.

Been done, but it's well known that the police in this town are gutless and will do nothing more than issue restraining orders which they will not enforce.
 
I would poke an eye out, then skull fuck him. (injure him before he does you)

Its all fun and games until hes tied up in a trunk and on the way to mexico.
