or you could get a thermal arc 185 with everything for less than 2400...its air cooled, but for most work that's fine as long as you can be patient...an ac/dc inverter tig for less than 2400 with everything but the bottles, that's not too bad

The welding classes i took had set ups like this .. the instrucor said they were right around 14k..
but they would do mig tig, arc and spool gun from one supply very sweet set ups..
