Well I've been trying to figure out what i'm going to use for a trans in my 94 mustang.
It will see a good amount of street time if i goto the track I'll most likely have to drive the car to it. So I really think I need a trans with OD. haven't completely shut down the idea of just going c4.
My problem kind of lies in the fact that the engine I have is running off an a9l ecu. So I'll need a stand alone controller if I go with an aod-e/4r70w not sure if i can fit that in my budget. Any ideas on how much the stand alone controllers run for the Electronic style transmissions? Motor is putting out about 500hp.
I was thinking of having an AOD done running a 4r70w gearset just not sure if I'll run into problems running an AOD in a sn95.
Anyone have any ideas? Really kind of lost here being new to sn95 body styles.
