GrandmaLS Club Member Mar 29, 2007 #1 what's the diameter of an LT1's valve stem? I'm going to order keepers but they offer them in 3/8 and 11/32. The retainers are 249-740-16's. It's gonna be stock rockers, dual comb springs, 740-16 springs, and ??? keepers. Can someone help me out? Keepers

S Sean124 Club Member Mar 30, 2007 #2 I think it depends on the model year of the head. but most SBC stuff is 3/8 btw.
