My car is 3700lbs and my trans has been going for 4 years now but I'm only running 440rwhp through it. I'm sure something is going to break this year when I spray it.

Are you planning on strengthening that should it fail or switching to a new platform completely?
There was also that ford hybrid thing Ridings made...I dont recall if many guys used them but it was surposed to be as heavy as the 60 but strong as the 80. 1000hp you wont notice the 80's difference, but at 500 it may feel slushy( if that makes any since)

That was a joint venture between Ridings and Sean @ C.A.R.S.
Sean's idea, Ridings conversion/machining/1 off converter, Sean's 4R70W build.
yep pics of it are still up on the bullet in the new products thread. The 80E will definitely not be ideal for something as mild as my car but there aren't too many options for us street driven DD cars. Wonder what the cost on the Ridings/Collins ford trans was?
last i heard, ~$2500+, depending on what it needed to handle, some were ~$3600
damn thats too rich for my cheap ass.
Ridings shop is like down the street from me I could always pop in and talk to him about it.

I only hit mine with a 175hp shot once, but that time it went faster than 10.50s and the Mike Ridings 4L60 had no issues. I'm sure it won't last forever if I keep spraying it that hard, but it's been perfect so far. The first gear might be steep but it worked that pass, low 1.4x short time.
