What kind of surfing is this?

I highly doubt that is real. There is no way air traffic control would permit the kite surfers to surf/fly that close to a runway for that particular reason. I'm calling edit on this one for sure!

Not always.

There is a vid posted some where on here is of an airport in the Philippines (or some chain of islands like those) and you had a 10 foot pole, and were standing on the beech you could hit the bottom of the plane. They land that close to the shore.

I was in St. Maarten two years ago, those landings were bad ass.
