I have seen this on ebay twice now
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110563553980&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fmotors.shop.ebay.com%3A80%2F__%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp4712.m39.l1313%26_nkw%3D110563553980%26_sacat%3D%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

You will have to go down to the bottom of the page because the bidding has ended but i talked to him and he said the lowest he will go is 9500.00 is it worth it or can i find something better for that price.

oh i think i would get rid a the black stripe

A carb swap kills these cars. Just a tick south of 10 stacks will buy a hell of a street car (turbo/blower) so I would pass.

Keep looking....

There is a reason the "high bid" was $6,700.
The market has spoken - that is the price.

There are a lot of very fine cars that can be had
for $10,000 right now.

Its worth it to someone looking for "that" car. It has a ton of nice parts. Just not what I would build for the price.

I do like the orange. if you were to offer some thing for what would you offer

I think whoever did the roll bar was an idiot to cut and reweld the back bars like that. The battery box also requires a firewall, as it's just a cheap one that's not sealed and vented to the outside. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice looking car but not worth 9500, the 65 or 67oo is more in line, especially with the economy.

FWIW, the car is about 25 minutes from me. From Flat Rock, take 23/75 south, go east on US 30 at Upper Sandusky, near Mansfield take the 314 exit to Lexington, think Mid-Ohio.

wow so far no more then 7000.00. This should be pretty funny if i do offer him something like that. Keep the comments comming

may be worth 6000. that car wasnt worth 10k at the height of the buying craze. Remember that it didnt even hit its reserve, so people will bid more than they normally would since it doesnt make a difference

the rear bumper cover shows the type of details the owner went through. :nono:

Ghetto-fabulous

I remember when cutting holes in the bumpers of GTs was the "in" thing to do 10+ years ago....I always wondered how so many people fell and bumped their heads at the same time.

I've also seen cases where people don't bid because they think they are wasting their time if the seller has a sky high reserve

Its a GT hatch - cheapest body style to buy! If it was a clean notch I would say 8-8.5K but as a GT with holes in the bumper (dumb), carbed, and the useless cut and welded cage (wont pass tech) I would say 6-6.5K tops. I wouldn't pay more than $5500 for that car. he should have taken the $6.7k high bid and ran!

No way....Too much, looks kinda clean tho..........BUT the worst thing ANYONE can do to a fox GT is cut holes for tail pipes.......FOR GOD SAKE get an LX if you want straight tail pipes!!!!!! Or even the cobra cover, and keep the GT kit on the rest!!! The drives me INSANE>

Loud pipes big rims
Wodie thats our life
When we pull up at the club
Sorry thats our night
I know a lot of haters out there sayin
That thats not right
But our diamonds are much bigger
So thats our life

If it doesn't sell once for your reserve, the best thing to do is raise the price...
I'll have to try that.
