yes. rumor has it that 6 were built, however, only 5 can be accounted for. the other one mysteriously disappeared after it was supposedly built. i am pretty sure that this concept was a throwback to the Shelby Daytona. it was after they had the retro mustang at the show, and the cobra.

They had it on an episode of "Rides". The car is killer.
The Chrysler Firepower concept car was somewhat similar in nature. When I worked there, we originally had plans to build it (V8-powered, 6.1 liter, with a Viper chassis and unique body panels...basically to compete with a C6 vette), but the economy was taking the big slide and it was immediately scrapped.
