What is the best investment you have made?

Probably my first Kawasaki Sxr, not only has it appreciated in value but I have met so many good friends thru racing and rec riding. Definitely gets the most smiles per gallon.
 
A house I bought and did a little fixing on and doubled my money. Tools and lawn care equipment have also supplied me with extra cash with the services I render with them.

One of my best was my 99 Cherokee (XJ)

Bought it for $3800, was a low mile 1 owner Jeep in 2008. I drove it for 4 years until it was stolen at a tigers game. Never had any rust, never gave me any troubles, and was just an all around great Beater DD and a blast in the snow. After being stolen it was found wrecked and partially stripped out. Insurance gave me a check for $4500 once found. Bought it back sold it to a guy at work and it is still on the road today (Down in Ohio).

Still thinking about getting another XJ for my daughter

education. about $175,000.00 education, which has returned that amount numerous times over the last 10 years.

(also, I do handle divorces)
 
I bought a set of Norelco hair clippers literally 20 years ago for $20.

They were still going strong until last month when my wife knocked them off of the counter and broke the gear.

I mean, just estimated that I used it twice a week is approximately 100 uses per year, x's 20 years means I got over 2000 uses out of them for $20.
