What is the best “Fix-A-Flat” tire stuff to use?

I’m afraid you maybe right! If I have ANY more air loss of any kind, at
any point, I’ll toss that tire & replace it. But if it is repaired & working,
why wouldn’t I use it?

People use flat repaired tires all the time. If I feared this tire’s integrity,
I wouldn’t use it.

Problem is say you take a turn... Sidewall starts flexing and now remember tire pressure is going up and down up and down... That hole strectches and shoots out the silicone while under pressure... You have a good chance of KABOOM goes the tire...

Talking from experience here...

Don't take this as a flame, but stop messing around with it, the forces on the sidewall are no joke.

Do the right thing and replace the tire in question (used, if you have to - if you need a matching pair).

YMMV (literally LOL).

i woulda just put a plug in it

NEVER plug a side wall. The reaming you do to install the plug SEVERLY compromises the sidewall structure.

Patch for a small pin hole ok, since he had the tire off he should have PATCHED it, it would have lasted much longer. But i like his solution, he should be fine untill it leaks again.

Good Luck!
