What happened to Friday night/Saturday night cruising and little car hang outs?

Depot Town in Ypsilanti does a cruise night on Thursdays, 5-8pm. It's worth it to eat at Maize Mexican Cantina alone. Some cool cars show up for sure.

Milan, Wilson park on Thursday nights from 6-8:30.

Belleville, Bayou Grill has a cruise night on Mondays from 6-9. I have yet to attend this one but I plan on it for sure.
 
I’m afraid that all of the stories the old timers used to tell us about how the millennials would not have interest in that kind of stuff are coming true. I understand some are buying modern muscle cars, but the cruise and show thing is dwindling.

I’m trying to keep my kids interested, but it’s a struggle between Xbox and other iPod crap. At least one of my boys is a diehard car kid/teen. Probably only until titties show up on the radar though! Lol

He just needs to hang out with the girls who like cars and he'll be all set. Lol
 
This years gonna be tough meeting out on woodward now that 696 is shut down... sucks going down 13 mile from the east side

Nothing on Woodward.. the dance studio Jim and i get would prob let us hang out there longs as it doesnt get out of hand
