What do you like about your internet/cable service?

So i just moved back to Detroit. I need to set up an internet / cable deal...am not lookin for anything fancy tv-wise i dont think. I'm guessin most services are around $50/month...any better deals? Its dumb cause i need the internet to research this..am postin from my phone.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Absolutely Nothing-Charter Communications! 200 bucks a month and the service is out of commission more than my car
 
I have comcast at home and that works well. I have used DSL at others houses and can notice a difference compared to the speed pages load when I am home. Welcome back Em!
 
I use Comcast internet and love the service. It is NEVER down (now that I typed this it will be dead tonight :haha:
 
You will have to see what is avalible at your place. Our basic cable and cable internet is $90/month through brighthouse. We have good service, as well you know. :lol: You and your sketchy ass internet.
 
COMCAST customer service sucks ass!

I've been having a problem with a bill, talked to a few CSR, put on hold for 37 minutes. This saturday I went to the Royal Oak office to talk to a supervisor, after driving 45 minutes, I'm told a supervisor doesn't work on weekends.

(still have to write a nasty letter to the supervisor about the bitchy csr)

The internet service has never failed me though. but the customer service sucks.

I have Charter up here and the service is ok, but he Customer Service is absolutely awful. I have to call in 3 or 4 times to get someone who can speak english and then we go through some asinine script.

Comcast wasn't much better, but in Northern Michigan we have Charter and Charter. Or satellite and that was shitola.

Lots of people bitch about Comcast, I have no problems with them though. My internet is fast and I get all the channels I want. Although that's only like 10, I had service that didn't give me all the channels I currently watch in the past (Speed).
 
comcast has 66 a month i think right now when i go to work 2moro i will check and see what kinda deals we have going on right now
