That's no fair......he had the Cecil mod. That is a 11.6 run anywhere else in the country :icon_mrgr

He runs at MIR a lot too, if anyone is going to get a 10.99 out of a stock c6 z it will be him. I'm down in the DC area in a few weeks, maybe I'll have to go to cecil with my stock z and see what the cecil mod can do for me.

Hey,

I was just curious because I took my car to Milan last saturday for the first time with the new 325 stroker motor and laid down a:

12.5 @108
1.79 60'

This was with Nitto Drags and 93 octane, AOD trans. I only got to make two passes and both were 12.5's I think if I got a few more runs I could have squeezed a 12.2 or 12.3 out of her, but hey not too shabby for the first time out! Looking to get her in to the high 11's next spring with some slicks!

In this months GM Hi-Tech, they started a C6 project car. They baselined it at [email protected] with a 1.99 60' time. This was on stock tires with no powershifting. Of course, it was at Englishtown, which is worth a few tenths. These cars are putting almost 350 to the wheels bone stock and are very light.

Sounds about right, it is amazing what the z06's and even the c6 will do in good air with an excellent driver. Excellent driver mod is the KEY and I don't think a lot of people realize how much that is worth. Because the fact is most of us are not all that great drivers, the excellent drivers are rare but when they get one of these cars in their hands. Look out. :)

That goes for any car usually. I actually plan on having a friend run my car to see what he can get and compare it to what I do. Sadly enough I expect about a .25 second difference. He's quite a bit older and has been racing for years and has 10x the amount of runs as I do in an SRT alone.

Not on those tires, that 60 ft. is about as good as it gets..... 108 mph you may get a 12.4 on a slick
