What do stock vetts run?

Yeah I would figure those times to be a little on the high side and some BS there. I would think stock Vetts Low 13's high 12's with a good driver.
425 Z06 - 12.5-12.9
505 Zo6 - 11.5- 12.0

Well good to know I can beat them all except for the 505hp z06 and all with a little 325 stroker built by, none other than, Rob Kain!!!!

The c5 z06 is 405hp, there is NO bs in any of those times. Look at the list, you going to call bs on everyone of them?
Jrod and Ranger are very respected in the corvette community and they have videos and witnesses for their times.

Almost every single ls1 f body i have seen will run a bottom 13(13.4 and lower) dead stock. Calling BS on those times is BS.
 
Someware on corvetteforum there is a vid of Paul Major running a 11.01@127 in a stock Z. (I looked for the vid but couldent find it.)

I think those times are right on. Evan Smith, one of the driver's at GM High Tech Performance magazine ran a 12.98 in a stock 01 F-Body, so I would totally believe the vettes times.

You Ford guys just in DENIAL! Once you admit you are slower, it will be much easier. :D

GMHTP mag did a 04 z06 and it ran 11.99 at I think 118. The 04 they said has a thinner windshield and carbon hood.
 
C'mon you know you cant judge how fast a car is just by the fastest guy's track time or mag times. For the average guy on the street i'd say

12.7-13.2
12.5-13.0
11.5-12.0

for those three mentioned. Yea you might run across the 2% that are faster than average but for the most part you wont.

he used DRs to get that time. he wanted 10's on stock tires
 
You guys have to take into account of where some of the faster stock times have been run.

Usually a sea-level track. good air in MI is around 500-1000 DA.
Sometime's the guys in Houston run at -1500 feet DA (or lower). Its all about the air.

I would say in MI, a good running c5 auto is a 13.2-.4 car, stick can run 12.8-9.

Good running c6 stick 12.5's or so, auto??? never seen one run.

c5 zo6 low low 12's to maybe a 12.0 and a c6 z06 a 11.6-7 car.
