What do men get for vday??

Hopefully the husband (GLH_Turbo22) is too busy today to see this.

I've been thinking a lot about what to get him for valentine's day. It's not a huge "holiday" for us or anything, we're going to Bravo tomorrow and I actually don't expect more than a card from him. I've just never known what to get him... He's not a jewelry guy, I got him a watch 2 yrs ago for his bday and I think he's worn it 5 times- not because he doesn't like it, he just doesn't wear nice stuff on a day to day basis. The cologne he likes (and that isn't wife repellent) is pretty much full- same excuse as the jewelry.
I don't know specifics on car parts to get him w/o asking, and quite frankly what's the fun in that?

Aside from some goood lovin, what do guys like to get for valentine's day? Anything out of the ordinary that you remember being pretty cool? Sometimes I think it's harder to shop for a guy than it is for a woman, you've got jewelry, candy, flowers, perfume... we've got... Dickies shirts? lol

P.S. As funny as it is, "let him PIIYB" is NOT an option, sorry boys

I just enjoy the time I get to spend with her, and it's kind of fun planning surprises for her. I really can't help ya, as I really don't want anything for the holiday

Yeah, sorry, letting him PIITB is about the best I can come up with...

Maybe pickup the bill for dinner? Good lovin and/or (preferably and) paying for dinner is all I'd ever want for v-day.

Guys don't want their mates to waste money on vday trinkets.

If you want to make him happy tell him you'd like to have a quiet meal together instead of a needless gift exchange.

I think we're hard pressed enough to be creative for anniversaries and birthdays.. Vday can be relegated to a card or dinner IMO.

Haha, the easiest cop out for ME... It all comes out of the same account... I like where your head's at :arco:

agreed. A relaxing evening at home, maybe even a massage.

I hate getting gifts from my wife. I understand it's the thought that counts, but honestly I'd rather have a relaxing evening of not having to worry about anything. Just make everything for him so he doesn't have to do anything. I'd rather have that than a gift of any kind.

He's the steak expert in the house... so again, less work for me= perfect

Hopefully he isn't the expert in giving the other...haha

After many years, ma and wifey have grown out of the gifts...too much money and too little time. Card is fine

Two chicks at once?

Seriously though this isn't a fucking holiday unless you work for a florist, hallmark, or a candy maker.

put something sexy on and cook his fav meal for him or have it made when he gets home and serve it in that outfit......always makes me happy

We don't typically exchange gifts...but I remember one year she got me some candy and a video game for my xbox, I thought that was awesome! I think it was Tony Hawk's 2nd skating game....

I got a badass buckle from Brown Dog Welding. :D

So I guess I can post a pic of it now?
