what causes windshield squeaking?

Had my windshield replaced yesterday and it squeaks really bad driving, especially when i hit a bump.

They'll fix it when I call I"m sure, but I'm just curious what causes the squeak? Is it not sealed?

Does it have a molding around the glass?

Try washing your window really good with windex. Then wipe it down with a newspaper.

oddly enough, the squeak went away the next day. I read somewhere that sometimes it happens after a replacement and should go away. If it doesn't go away within 48 hours then it's a problem. This went away overnight. It was coming from the top middle of the windshield behind the rear view mirror.
