what carb on a mild 306ci?

I have a mild 306ci in a 80' hatch back. C4, 3500 cpnverter... pretty mild. Was wondering what carb to use?! 780 prosystems too big?
 
The car currently has a 700 dual feed dbl pumper on it. 68 primaries and 74 secondaries. Runs good except a horrible bog off the line.

Bring the jets up to 72 or 74, if the bog is on teh primaries, if it's on the secondarys up those jets. Is it only on a WOT punch or while cruising?
 
I ran nothing but 600 cfm holleys on my 306 witch was a very mild 306 low comp stock heads pretty much just a cam the car ran perfect plugs never fouled up always looked perfect. It was maybe a 13 second setup and not that it matters but gas milage was half way decent

Throw a few jets at it, cleaned up my buddies car but it does tend to foul plugs after a while, but the ET picked up. SPeaking of which, what heat range plug you using...maybe go a step cooler.

My plugs always looked perfect, but always had a bog WOT. I put jets in it it started cleaning it up, but sold the car before i got it straightened out all the way. New owner said he put a bigger squirter in it. I had 31's on both. Don't know what he put in it, or if it helped. I never cared, had a trans brake, that ends all evils of bogs....lol
