ok, what ends are used on a Moser Bolt-In 9" rear axle for a third gen camaro?

checking moser again in a minute, ready to order brakes, need to know

Got a picture ???

got it figured out, ford big end, new Style

now i need to figure out which master cylinder to go with

he is going to run Wilwood 4 piston calipers on all 4 corners, and we need a master to work good, but fit a stock 3rd gen booster, any ideas?

we are looking at the wilwood P/N 950-260-8555 (Jegs number), It has a 1" bore, think it will work good?

ok, just FYI, I called Wilwood, and he said the best one to use with a booster is the 260-8556, which has a 1 1/8 bore

thanks

That's a big bore for use with a boosted setup. I'd stick with the stocker first, then step up to a B-car one. If you compare the piston area of a b-car caliper (2.75" bore IIRC), the piston area is not far off from 4 smaller ones on the Wilwood.

The only thing you will lose with that big Wilwood master is pedal resolution (for lack of a better term). All that boost and all that volume may give you a setup that is full of boost, and hard to modulate w/o locking up. So maybe see how the stocker feels first? :dunno:

Just a thought.. since it's free advise, you might be getting what you paid for.. ;)
