What are everyone winter plans for their rides?

I would like to start modding the MINI, new cylinder head, header, exhaust, intake, tune, which all should max out the blower and give me around 240hp and 210 tq, then I'd do some coilovers, swaybars, bigger brakes front and rear, and go road racing. But the money just isnt there.

Are you talking 240chp or 240whp?

the tko won't hold that power???

The small block would be making 850+HP N/A and the Big Block would be up around 1000 N/A and possibly have spray (300+). The small block would be pushing it and the Big Block would destroy it.

Lengthen frame a couple of inches, bigger motor, and possibly a small nitrous kit if I can find one. Also, maybe a smaller gear.

I want to intercool my car and run a 10 lb pulley, would like to get headers still, but no $$!

I have all the parts, just need to fab it up.

240whp. A certain vendor has made some huge improvements in the way of aftermarket cylinder heads and is really making killer power.:rockwoot:

Just fyi, for about the same price you could pick up an EVO or STi that would be killer on a roadcourse and make around 300awhp at stage II (tbe, intake, tune). EVO RS's don't weigh much more than the MINI's.

Nick

ps. is the local vendor detroit speed shop?

I have driven both pretty extensively, anything from stock Evo's and STi's to my friends 35r Evo with coilovers to another friends 18g STi with full suspension, just something about the MINI that I love, not sure what it is.

go kart feel?
They are fun cars, it just seemed that you wanted the power, it was going to be expensive to reach, and the mini is better suited for auto-x than a road course.
