One thing to remember

ALWAYS remember to fill you'r bottle if you want to use it!!!..

COUGH dave COUGH!

actually, a better reminder would be to make sure all your fittings are good and tight, lest you be made fun of by people with small peckers.

so does anyone have any info on the wiring, and the pic of the stuf i got with the kit? I only have one relay??

you really only need one relay unless you're using a remote bottle opener and/or a heater. i can draw you up a diagram, but it won't be until tomorrow night

Sweet, yeah when you get time if you could do that i would really appreciate it alot. Right now i dont plan on a bottle warmer, just a window switch and fuel pressure safty, and maybe a purge if i can find a decent deal.

thanks again,
Ryan :peelout:

this is a online manual for a 4v but will work for you some of the wires might be in a diffrent spot in by your throtle body but you might not be running a micro switch

http://www.holley.com/data/Products/Technical/199R10328.pdf

electrical part starts on page 16 showing a wiring diagram for relays solinoids etc..... its really easy

Awesome, thanks alot for that one! really helps. I have a MSD window switch on its way from a member on here (bluhawk) that should be here by sat. all i need now is a fuel press. switch and fill the bottle and if the weather is still in the 50's I'll try it out :peelout: BTW, how necessary is a purge kit? i dont know if i wanna drop over $100 on that right now...

without a purge kit, you'll have a delayed response when you hit the button (and you'll also run really fat during that delay as the fuel solenoid will be pumping fuel in with no nitrous).

the net effect will be slow-slower-fast. lol.

it's a good investment. you can find them for $50-75 if you look around.

I will probably do that then, I can use any brand purge even though my setup is NOS right?

pretty much, just make sure it's the right size to match your lines (i.e. either -4 or -6)

you might as well buy larger jets now. :icon_mrgr

which reminds me, I have no idea what jets are in my kit right now so where i can i buy some 50-75-100-125 jets and how much?

depending on what brand of nozzle you're running, you should be able to get jets from summit or jegs.

:dontknow: :icon_mrgr

Thanks everyone for all the help and info, stay tuned for more questions! BTW, i repped everyone i could who helped me!

thanks!

Got a quick question already. What wire do i tap into for a rpm signal for my window switch? i have a ford schematics book and i dont see any tach wires, i see ignition coil wires, what should i tap into? also, where did you guys mount your relays, window switch? thanks!

....

Look at this picture, i just need to know where i will be wiring in my window switch and fuel pressure safty? will it be to the BLUE wire that goes to the solenoids?

thanks!

you'll want to put them before the relay, not after. as for where to pick up the rpm signal, you'll need a tach driver for that, iirc. summit/jegs sells them.

so where at before the relay would i wire them? to the micro switch ground?

i think the window switch has pretty specific instructions on where it goes. i've never installed one though. i think larry knows more.
