Went up north for the weekend. heres some pics of our trip.

that thing ran phenominal! it runs pretty hard too. kevin had a blast on that damn thing. we would get done ridin, get back to camp and take a break, ten minutes later he was back on it ridin around the campground. we couldnt peel him off the damn thing

yeah, when it was right that thing would fly........i just lost interest.....i have to admit, with the pics you took, it looks like a blast

looked pretty dead, its always more fun when you have the trails to yourself. did you guys go to walkers bar? they've got some good nachos haha

yeah we were very fortunate we had awesome weather and only saw maybe 15-20 other bikes/quads all weekend.

we didnt go to walkers, we went to ma deeters, mio saloon, and the bar in mckinley, i think it was called au sable riverview tavern or something like that.

They were 2 stokes, But they wernt strugling power wise. More in a traction and stability form.

Oh okay. I just rode my old 125 I sold to a buddy in the sand and up a hill up north. It struggled bad, if I got a real good run at it I could keep it pinned in third but it would start bogging down. I just can't imagine it having the power to pull with a paddle. I rode JDPs 450 up the same hill, completely different ball game. It has gobs of power. All the dirt bikes will get loose without a paddle but if your on the gas it stays pretty straight just have to hold it tight with your knees.

Looks like you guys had a fun time. If that's the same Jesse I know his quad is a bad bitch. He can ride too. :buds:

gosh that place brings back memories.

that bar in mckinley and that bridge right there at the point over the AuSable river there was a ton of teens there one labor day weekend jumping off it and into the river. you know that water is freaking cold right?

I said they were crazy or drunk lol

bull gap used to have a much steeper incline than what it is now. all the vehicles climbing it broke it down alot.

but yes alot of fun there for sure! we rode a trail where a deer just gave birth to twins and they were all slimy. didnt run or anything. it was awesome.

that is gods country for sure

yeah i was talking about jumping in off that bridge and we were debating wether it was deep enough or not. i thought it was...but it was too cold to try it. lmao. i LOVED it up there. your right about the gods country thing.

Damn ive seen people stand the quads up in a truck but never over the edge like that! nothing like getting your moneys worth !

how did the ole z400 run for you?

Was the only quad that didn't have any problems other then the tie rod I bent. I can put a hurtin on the other z400 that was with us pretty hard thru 4th then he stay up in 5th but i think that might be tire size.

We made what we had work lol. We had 3 quads a pop up and a truck, So we figured a way to make it work.

we go to bull gap a few times per year. Usually on busy weekend. We run paddles and play on the hill. Start all the way back as far as you can. Its always fun to play out there

we were doin that too, it was fun. but it was also fun to make it as hard as possible and still try to make it. like starting at the very bottom of the hill, and not hitting it with a running start etc.

jesse that went with us almost got decapitated getting the running start. we were racing three wide and he got a lil loose and went under a tree branch and didnt duck enough and it smoked his head. lmao

ya, when i went up bull gap it was just traction out of the hole, i was right next to the 4 wheelers to the whoops then started pulling on them

We used to go to Bull Gap before it was popular when I was a little guy. We used to dune buggy up that and hang out up there for hours and no one would be around. That's when it was a bitch to get up that hill. Really close family friends live in McKinley.

Hell yes I am. The people I know live across the street from the gas station. I am not sure if I've ever been to that bar though.
