maui can tend to be more of the urbanized island too, you should check out kauai for a week next time ya go! The waterfalls in the summertime are just amazing. Did you do the road to hana? lol been stuck on the back part of the island once for the better part of the night in a broken down rental with no cell signal!

Ya i did the road to hana.....that was too cool....We rented a jeep so we could go off road at a few places....My son new the area well.....Did you goto the rain forest??? That was kinda weird....Its also strange how the island has alot of wild cats and chickens.......

yeah tons of free range animals on the islands, it wasnt nearly that bad before the last big hurricanes in the past 15 years. Never went to a rain forest on maui but did hike some on the napali coast in kauai. Check that one out for sure... home of the wettest spot on earth. They get 150+ft waves in the winter, and its nothing but hard to reach beaches, massive caves and huge cliffs. If you didn't do any cave tours i highly suggest that too! some of them have boat rides lol

No never went on any cave tours yet......Did you drive up to the summit on Maui ?? That was also strange......it was like being on the moon or somthing and you looked down at the clouds..

been there before a few years back, also in Kauai went up to the top of Wai'ale'ale and hiked and saw the sun rise at like 4 something in the am lol

Maui is awesome, I would love to go back. My wife and I went there and stayed in Kaanapali (west side of island) for our honeymoon.

We did as many activities as we could.....sunrise view of the clouds, ride quads through the mountain side, took the bike ride down the mountain, hiked to the top of the 7 sacred pools to check out the waterfall etc etc.
