well the ebay auction for my 67 camaro is ending tonight

Thats why I wont sell a car on ebay anymore... people simply dont pay. Something always seems to "come up" and they cant follow through with the transaction. On top of that you (as a seller) cant leave negative feedback for them and you get stuck with the listing fees and ebay makes a shit ton of money....
fixed

You should have put a disclaimer in the ad.. something like "car is listed for sale locally and i reserve the right to end the auction at any time". That way if you weren't happy you could have stopped the auction without ruining your 100% feedback score.

Once the auction has only 12 hours or less left, I do not think you can cancel bids nor the listing. At leasts outside of ebay motors.

ebay should be free right?
Ebay fees are cheap when you compare how much it would cost to sell your item otherwise. Where else can you expose it to over 15 Million buyers?

I see your point Joe. In my opinion ebay isn't good for selling big ticket items. On the other hand small things that you're selling in an ebay store with paypal payments is a fine way to do business. :893goof_v

0 feedback has me worried. I hope he comes through.. Or maybe not if you wanted to get more from it..

Wait till summer and take it to a few cruise-ins, park it, put up a sign for $13k and walk around. Someone will buy it. That's how I found my Chevelle.

autotrader.com ~$50 and the ad stays till you sell it.
