Well just got laid off...

Well, I was part of a 33% staffing reduction on top of a 30% reduction they had earlier this year. So if anybody knows of anything in auto safety testing or military testing let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.
I have an Associates in Electronics and a Bachelors in Engineering Technology with 6+ years experience with an OEM and a Tier 1.
I wonder if we work at the same place :gr_confus we just had lay-offs today and your post sounds an awful lot like what we do here.

The Michigan unemployed...

I am so very sorry to "welcome"
you to the club. Our membership
is growing by the day :shake:

Very sorry to hear that. I wish you the best of luck finding work. Very scary times.

Mike, sorry to hear you were let go, too.

Thanks for all the well wishes and support everyone.

About an hour and 1/2 ago. Well the trans shop is open full time now!!!

Mike

Sorry to hear Mike.

not sure if moving is an option but do you know of the place in AZ? When I was at ford many engineers and mechanics went down there. The last I talked to any of them they were doing very well. I don't know the name of the place but I may be able to get it. Dirtybird might know too

Moving is not an option since I just bought a house 3 months ago, otherwise it would have been.

PM coming.
I can't say much more then I have in public with the severance agreement.
